Learn-to-Skate Instructor, Part-Time (45093)

We are seeking skating instructors to teach classes for our Learn to Skate and/or Learn-to-Play-Hockey classes at the Oakton Sports Complex in Park Ridge, IL.

Requirements

• Background in skating and/or hockey
• Comfort on the ice with skating and hockey-specific skills
• Approved coaching certification or ability to acquire it within 6 months of hire
• CPR/AED and first-aid certification or ability to become certified within 90 days of employment
• Knowledge of school age children's developmental stages and behavioral techniques
• Knowledge of Oakton's skating developmental techniques
