Job Description
A Manufacturing Mechanic is needed to perform job duties with direction from the Plant Manager & Shift Supervisor. Responsibilities include maintaining machine performance, productivity, and safety, as well as performing daily walk downs and changeovers. Training on 1st shift is required, with the ability to work assigned 2nd or 3rd shift.
Requirements
- Comprehensive mechanical tools
- Ability to train on 1st shift on basic mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical skills
- Constant visual attention and ability to discern flaws in containers
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to lift 75-100 pounds occasionally
