Mechanical Engineering Co-op Student (12-Month Term)

As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op Student at Sunoco LP, you will work on maintaining safe, reliable, and profitable operation of the refinery, participating in troubleshooting unit/equipment problems and delivering effective solutions. You will also learn to perform flange gasket bolting calculations, brittle fracture prevention evaluations, and piping stress analysis using industry codes and standards. The role is a 12-month term opportunity starting in September 2026.

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution in the 3rd or 4th year of a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering
• Have previous Co-op/Internship experience
• Have strong interpersonal skills and natural leadership
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Be a creative and analytical thinker with time management skills
• Be self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
