Genomics Lab Technician

As a Genomics Lab Technician, you will work in a fast-paced lab environment to perform laboratory techniques, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help advance customers' research. You will maintain a safe and clean work environment, handle lab specimens, and operate automated laboratory systems.

Requirements

• B.S./B.A. in a relevant field with 3+ years of hands-on wet lab experience in industry or a technician role
• Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant hands-on wet lab experience in a professional setting
• Experience using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) such as Illumina or Ultima platforms required
• Experience using Lab Automation such as Hamilton platforms preferred
• Meticulous adherence to policies, procedures, and established protocols
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and effectively prioritize work
• Sound judgment and critical thinking skills, including the ability to make in-scope decisions and escalate appropriately during time-sensitive tasks
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic lab environment where priorities shift and focus can change quickly
• Adaptability and resilience when plans evolve or new direction is introduced
