Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO)

Parsons is looking for a Contractor Special Security Officer/Facility Security Officer to manage security for SCIF/SAPF operations in support of DoD and IC customers.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret government security clearance with SCI eligibility
• Associates degree in security or criminal justice or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• 5+ years of relevant security experience
• Maintenance of SCIF/SAPF accreditations
• Security education and training for assigned personnel
• Development, implementation, and monitoring of security policies and procedures
• Investigation of security violations
• Documentation and maintenance of personnel security files and rosters
• Establishment and maintenance of successful working relationships with government and internal customers
• Facility access control support, intrusion detection, safes/locks, hardware, and doors and responding to alarm notifications
• SCIF visitor control functions
• Processing classified computer accounts and/or network requests
• Conducting SCIF/SAPF self-inspections in preparation for security audits
• Preparing written SOPs/EAP and updating annually for DoD and IC customers
