Job Description
Parsons is looking for a talented Environmental Engineer II to support and/or lead engineering assessments and other related activities for remedial design and construction projects. The successful candidate will have experience with in-situ remediation technologies and apply technical theories, practices, and company policies. The role involves collaborating with project teams, reviewing contract submittals, and providing technical guidance to junior-level engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and approximately 5+ years of related work experience
- Professional Engineer registration strongly preferred, or ability to obtain within 2 years
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills
- Strong independent work ethic and flexibility to adapt to rapidly shifting client priorities
- Practical experience with in situ Chemical Oxidations (ISCO), in situ bioremediation (ISBR), air sparge/soil vapor extraction, and other in situ treatment technologies
- Thorough understanding of soil, groundwater, and soil vapor sampling as well as environmental rules and regulations
