Job Description
Linux Systems Administrator needed to support mission-critical systems, perform daily system checks, resolve issues, and ensure reliability and efficiency of infrastructure. Proactive problem-solver required.
Requirements
- User Support: Manage new user onboarding, workstation imaging, and configuration.
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve remote user and system infrastructure issues.
- Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.
- System Upgrades: Plan and coordinate system outages and upgrades.
- Network Maintenance: Monitor and maintain network systems.
- Equipment Installation: Install server and network equipment in a data center environment.
- Documentation: Document infrastructure architecture changes and updates.
- HelpDesk Support: Resolve user requests and issues reported to the HelpDesk.
- After-Hours Support: Occasionally support after-hours system upgrades.
