Job Description

As a Resident Engineer, you will manage the construction supervision of Traffic Monitoring and Information Collection System, overseeing daily construction operations, ensuring project completion on time, within budget, and meeting quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university
- Minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience, with at least 7 years in a managerial or technical lead role in large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE
- Demonstrated experience in handling technical and financial proposals, evaluating constructability, technology deployment, and solving technical challenges during construction
- Prior hands-on experience with ITS systems, including their design, configuration, integration, and successful deployment/commissioning on similar infrastructure projects
- Experience in managing Health & Safety and Environmental Protection aspects of deep underground structures and similar large-scale projects
- Proven experience in managing construction projects
- Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with other construction projects in the vicinity and consult with statutory bodies for acquiring consents and licenses
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent technical writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of engineers and technical staff
- Proactive problem-solving ability and capacity to manage work across multiple areas on-site
- Computer skills are mandatory, with proficiency in relevant software tools for project management and construction tasks
