Job Description
Join Parsons as a Senior Bridge Engineer and work on bridge projects in the Virginia/DC region, designing and developing engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys, and designs. This hybrid role is based in Centreville, VA or Washington, DC office and requires 8+ years of related work experience, a BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis, and VDOT & DDOT experience.
Requirements
- Perform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking, and improved results.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Microstation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software.
