Systems Engineer TS/SCI POLY

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and operating sophisticated hardware and software systems that drive innovation and mission-critical operations.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret//SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Linux command line operations, including advanced file operations, managing systemd services, remote navigation and file operations, writing and debugging shell scripts (BASH), setting up and managing cron jobs for task automation, basic system monitoring and performance tuning, managing software repositories and dependencies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or BASH.
• Experience analyzing networking protocols using Wireshark.
• All candidates must be U.S. citizens to be considered for this position.
