Job Description
We are looking for an Information Security Officer to join our team in Rostock, Germany. The ideal candidate will have a background in information security, IT security, or a related field, and several years of experience in a leadership or CISO role. The role involves developing security strategies, implementing standards and processes, and providing teams with central contact for cybersecurity risks, compliance, and information security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business informatics, computer science or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in the field of information security / IT security
- Comprehensive knowledge of standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, BSI-Grundschutz, DSGVO and NIS2
- Practical experience with security architectures for web and cloud solutions
- Knowledge of network security, IAM, encryption, SIEM, and secure software development
- Experienced in penetration tests, audits, certifications, and ISMS development
- Analytical, solution-oriented, and decision-making with clear communication
- Independent, honest, resilient, and ideally experienced in growing digital companies
