Job Description
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the daily care and supervision of children ensuring their health, safety, and wellbeing is protected at all times. The role involves supervising residents, providing supportive supervision, and implementing daily activity schedules.
Requirements
- Supervise residents to ensure their safety and wellbeing
- Provide supportive supervision for residents unable to sleep
- Implement daily activity schedules
- Assist with homework and education of residents
- Supervise and facilitate recreational and leisure time
- Transport residents to required appointments or off-site activities
- Administer prescribed medications and record medications given
