Community Support Team (CST) Substance Abuse Counselor - CADC

We’re hiring a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) to join our dedicated behavioral health team in North Carolina. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you’ll provide structured, evidence-based services to individuals living with substance use disorders.

Requirements

• Deliver individual and group counseling for clients in recovery
• Conduct screening, intake, orientation, and assessments to guide treatment plans
• Develop individualized treatment plans addressing substance use and co-occurring concerns
• Provide crisis intervention, case management, and client education
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to agency and state standards
• Coordinate care with physicians, mental health professionals, and external resources
• Travel within assigned service areas to provide community-based support
