Staff Auditor

Join Patrick Industries as a Staff Auditor and support the internal audit function by performing audit procedures, evaluating internal controls, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

• Perform audit fieldwork, including testing controls, analyzing data, and documenting results for both SOX and Risk Based audit
• Assist in developing audit programs and identifying key risks and controls
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
• Prepare clear, accurate documents that support audit findings and conclusions
• Participate in walkthroughs and interviews with process owners
• Draft audit observations and recommendations for review by senior auditors and managers
• Communicate findings professionally and collaborate with business partners to clarify issues
• Support the preparation of audit reports and presentations for management
• Help monitor remediation of audit findings and follow up with stakeholders
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices
• Contribute ideas to enhance audit methodologies, tools, and processes
• Support and audit the company’s data gathering efforts for annual ESG/Carbon Emissions reporting
