Specialist - IT Terminal Automation - 2610001302

The Specialist - IT Terminal Automation will implement projects and provide daily support for terminal management systems, configuring and supporting terminal automation software and related equipment.

Requirements

• Configure, implement, and maintain terminal automation systems, including related applications, hardware, interfaces, and communications.
• Collect, interpret, and document requirements to develop new or modify existing solutions.
• Develop and implement automation system changes and enhancements.
• Provide support of critical production automation systems, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to ensure continuous availability.
• Perform research and maintenance activities, including vendor coordination, to ensure that expected service levels and objectives are met.
• Maintain a broad understanding of information technology and business processes in order to assess impact and prioritize activities.
• Responsible for solving difficult and complex technical issues.
• Expected to continually expand the scope of knowledge.
• Expected to work effectively with other I/S disciplines and operations team members, and bridge gaps as necessary.
• Travel – Must be willing and able to travel as required by the demands of the position, up to 20% of the time, but may be higher during critical project assignments.
• Must be willing to work overtime when needed, including occasional weekend work
