Director of Facilities

We are looking for a Director of Facilities to lead the strategy, operations, and optimization of Pattern's physical workplace environment at our offices. The role ensures our offices are safe, efficient, scalable, and aligned with employee experience goals while supporting rapid company growth.

Requirements

• International experience in facilities management, workplace operations, or a related field
• Proven experience managing small and large office environments, preferably in a high-growth or tech company
• Proven experience leading the launch of new office spaces or facilities, including site selection support, design, construction coordination, and operational readiness
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and vendor management
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, redesign, and optimize existing facilities to meet evolving business needs, improve employee experience, and drive cost and space efficiency
• Experience managing leases, budgets, contracts, and capital projects
• High EQ and excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive, data-driven approach to decision making
