Accounting Lead

Analyze ledgers and accounts to ensure financial data reconciliation, prepare financial reports, and manage daily cash flow. Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems, and work closely with internal and external auditors.

Requirements

• Analyze ledgers and accounts to allow the reconciliation of financial data in a timely manner
• Ensure the company remains aware of its financial position on an ongoing basis
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the accounting records and financial systems
• Prepare financial reports in line with group timelines and report to the Management team as and when needed
• Ensure proper daily cash flow management and forecast in order to identify the company’s financial needs
• Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits
• Produce and validate the Ad Hoc reports and presentations upon management requests
• Monitor the country’s annual budget, highlight variances, and recommend remedial actions as and when needed
• Manage payments/transfers to the suppliers in order to ensure they are executed on time
• Ensure compliance with taxation regulations, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)/International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company procedures
