06.Engineering Manager (Java Background)

PayPay India is looking for an Engineering Manager (Java Background) to work on our payment product to deliver the best payment experience for our customers. The job involves leading the team in its daily tasks, prioritizing them, and making decisions based on changing business priorities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience for backend development
• 2+ years of experience for team management
• Track record of designing, developing and supporting highly scalable, responsive web / mobile applications
• Professional experience in a technical management or leadership role
• Have a technical mindset and understand complex systems design
• Have an extreme bias towards action
• Be solutions oriented
• Be able to maintain high-performance within a high-energy and fast-paced work environment
• Have excellent oral, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Japanese is nice to have, but not required
