Payhawk is a leading global spend management solution for scaling businesses. We're looking for an exceptional Associate BI Analyst to help build the financial system of tomorrow. You will be responsible for gathering information, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on established business and operation KPIs, offerings, and initiatives.
Requirements
- 1 year in an analytical role, including internships
- Good grasp of Excel / Google Sheets - advanced functions, pivot tables, text/date functions, etc.
- Skilled in selecting, filtering, joining, aggregating, and applying basic window functions, with a focus on validating results
- Experience with BI tools (preferably Tableau) to create straightforward dashboards and visualizations
- Confident working with numbers, applying basic descriptive statistics, and formulating clear, testable questions
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on data accuracy and documentation; proactively seeks reviews when needed
- Able to present findings in a clear, accessible way to non-technical audiences and collaborate effectively across teams
- Curious and eager to deepen knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices; receptive to feedback and continuous improvement
