Job Description
This job delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). It involves advising management on project-level issues, guiding junior engineers, operating with little supervision, and applying knowledge of technical best practices. The job requires designing, developing, and maintaining Android SDK components for PayPal's TapToPay product, contributing to initiatives concerning and implementing NFC-based payment flows, and collaborating with iOS engineers, backend teams, and external integrators to deliver consistent cross-platform payment experiences.
Requirements
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Android SDK development
- Familiarity with NFC technologies and contactless payment standards
- Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture patterns
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices
