As a Backend Python Engineer on the Venmo Identity Engineering team, you will develop secure, scalable backend solutions that enable authentication and authorization for millions of customers. You’ll write clean, efficient code, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to building high-performance systems that enhance customer trust and experience.

Requirements

• Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Advises immediate management on project-level issues
• Guides junior engineers
• Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
