Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Backend-Focused)

Paytient is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to build scalable, reliable backend systems for its core financial and data ecosystems. The role involves leading backend development using Java/Spring Boot or Kotlin, contributing to React frontend, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to build elegant software.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with a proven track record of technical impact and leadership
• Deep experience with Java, Spring Boot, or Kotlin
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex challenges in high-stakes financial environments
• Experience with or interest in React for occasional fullstack contributions
• AI-forward mindset and experience using AI assisted development tools
• Comfort working in a cross-functional environment and collaborating closely with Product, Design, Compliance, Support, and Operations
