Job Description
As a DevOps Technical Lead at Paytm, you will architect and operate a resilient, secure, and highly scalable cloud-native platform supporting massive traffic. You will drive automation, lead initiatives to scale infrastructure, and develop a strong analytical mindset within the team. You will champion a Quality-First culture and ensure best practices across the DevOps lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Educational qualification: BE / B.Tech / MSc in Computer Science or MCA
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, containers, and cloud-native deployments
- Deep experience with automation using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps tooling
- Strong understanding of systems, networks, OS internals, and troubleshooting at scale
- Ability to write scripts/tools in Bash, Python, Groovy, or Golang to solve operational problems and automate workflows
- Hands-on experience with GenAI tools/frameworks leveraged for operational intelligence
- Experience running Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Thanos at high scale, managing millions of metrics per second
