Job Description
The Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with parking regulations throughout designated areas, supporting safe, fair, and consistent parking operations, and providing excellent customer service to the public.
Requirements
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to monitor parking activity
- Enforce parking regulations by issuing citations for violations
- Observe and document violations accurately using handheld devices or ticketing systems
- Provide clear, courteous information to customers regarding parking rules, payment options, and enforcement procedures
- Report malfunctioning meters, pay stations, or signage issues
- Utilize body cameras and follow all departmental policies and procedure
