Scientist II, PharmDev Formulation

This job requires a Scientist II with 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical development to lead formulation development projects, support complex projects, and execute experiments without supervision.

Requirements

• Leads Formulation Development projects for various modalities
• Supports complex Formulation Development projects as a collaborator
• Executes and analyzes experiments to achieve project milestones
• Develops and implements phase-appropriate formulation development strategies
• Acts as a Formulation Development representative on internal and client-facing project calls
• Demonstrates proficiency in formulation design for small molecules and biologics
• Develops and optimizes formulations for high-potency compounds
• Supports technology transfer activities and assists in scale-up or manufacturing transitions
• Performs analytical testing within Pharmaceutical Development laboratory
• Troubleshoots formulation, analytical and process challenges
• Maintains laboratory instruments and equipment
• Authors and reviews Formulation Development records and reports
• Drafts and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Provides training, technical guidance, and mentorship to junior scientists
