Job Description
PDQ is a fast-growing SaaS company that manages millions of devices globally. As a Software Engineer in Test, you'll design, implement, and execute automated testing strategies to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of PDQ's Detect product. You'll work with a modern tech stack, including Playwright, Grafana, and more.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in software testing or quality engineering
- Hands-on experience with test automation using Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools
- Experience designing and executing performance tests (e.g., load, stress, scalability) to ensure system reliability under real-world conditions
- Strong scripting and debugging skills in JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell
- Familiarity with Windows OS, including endpoint configurations, services, permissions, and networking
- Experience working with bug tracking and test case management tools (e.g., Linear, Jira)
- Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile workflows
- Ability to clearly document test cases, issues, test plans, and related processes
