Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer responsible for providing technical and maintenance services throughout the hotel to keep equipment and systems in excellent condition.

Requirements

• Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance standards.
• Have knowledge and understanding of all department policies and procedures.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders.
• Check and make routine repairs and assist on major repairs of all hotel equipment.
• Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters.
• Maintain the building exterior and 'curb appeal'.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.
• Assemble, install, and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
• Perform maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate with other departments pertaining to guest room conditions.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and storage rooms.
