Job Description
Peak Energy is seeking a Power Electronics Lead to join their Energy Storage Systems (ESS) Engineering team. This role focuses on the architecture, design, and technical direction of power conversion systems, including DC/AC inverters, bidirectional DC/DC converters, and protection circuitry. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who takes ownership of complex problems and contributes to the development of world-class energy storage products.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing power conversion systems.
- Expertise in high-power and high-voltage converters (100kW+).
- Strong understanding of high-voltage system design, insulation coordination, and thermal management.
- Proficiency in simulation and design tools (e.g., SPICE, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, Altium).
- Deep understanding of compliance and grid standards.
