Job Description
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to act as a Technical Authority for FPSO projects. The role involves managing and maintaining the engineering plan, including budget, contracting strategy, and schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas industry, specifically in FPSO projects, and experience in managing engineering teams and contractors.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a Technical field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on FPSO projects
- Experience managing a team of engineering staff and contractors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in engineering design software and tools (i.e. Navisworks)
- Good in writing Technical Reports
- Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects from concept to commissioning
- In-depth knowledge of FPSO systems, equipment, and operations
- Previous leadership role at engineering contractor
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and develop engineering teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
