Job Description
The Truck Shop Diesel Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, heavy equipment, and other motorized vehicles.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
- Class A CDL preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve practical problems
