Field Production Underwriter - Indiana

Pekin Insurance is seeking a Field Production Underwriter to develop relationships with insurance agencies and underwrite commercial insurance risks. The role involves working closely with agents, making underwriting decisions, and traveling to agencies to write commercial risks. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of underwriting experience, and certifications such as CIC or CPCU.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• 5+ years of experience in underwriting, field underwriting
• 3+ years' experience in underwriting or agency management, preferred
• Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) preferred
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
