The Trade Sales Consultant is responsible for building the Pella brand within the trade industry, achieving individual sales goals, and providing well-rounded solutions to customers. The role requires developing relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and trade organizations, and originating new customer relationships through networking and referrals.
Requirements
- Achieving individual sales and customer satisfaction goals and objectives
- Networking, lead and referral generation
- Representing Pella at company-sponsored events and trade association meetings
- Generating sales by acquiring new customers and building loyalty within existing customer relationships
- Maintaining exceptional level of expertise of products/services relating to Pella's customers
- Building strong customer relationships through a consultative sales approach
- Ensuring quotes and orders are accurate following company sales procedure
- Educating customers on manufacturer installation guidelines and measuring of openings
- Leveraging other Pella team members/departments to assist with specific product requirements
- Thanking clients and encouraging a continuing relationship
