Penn Power Group is looking for a Carrier Refrigeration Technician B to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration units for commercial trucks, trailers, and large equipment.
Requirements
- Inspects, maintains and repairs refrigeration units, and all systems/components related to heavy duty tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units
- Install, maintain, and repair heavy-duty refrigeration units on trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration cycles
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure proper functioning
- Recharge refrigerant systems and replace or repair parts, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators
- Performs pre-start up checks on equipment and communicates repairs necessary
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, dealing with various temperatures and conditions
- Rebuilding components on equipment
- Complete all Repair Orders in a timely manner ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit
