Carrier Refrigeration Technician - Journeyman

We are looking for a talented Carrier Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration units for commercial trucks, trailers, and large equipment. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty refrigeration repair or maintenance, in-depth knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and mechanical components, and EPA Section 608 Certification.

Requirements

• Inspect, maintain and repair refrigeration units, and all systems/components related to heavy duty tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units
• Install, maintain, and repair heavy-duty refrigeration units on trucks, trailers, and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system issues, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration cycles.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure proper functioning.
• Recharge refrigerant systems and replace or repair parts, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, dealing with various temperatures and conditions.
• Rebuilding components on equipment
• Complete all Repair Orders in a timely manner ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit
