Job Description
The Center for Language Science (CLS) in the College of the Liberal Arts at Penn State seeks a Human Research Technologist to assist in the design and execution of the research of the labs within CLS. The position involves recruiting and testing participants, managing laboratory operations, providing technical support, and assisting with public engagement activities.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Training and experience with at least one research-related technical method (e.g., eye tracking, EEG/ERP, acoustic analysis in Praat)
- Previous hands-on research experience in language science
