Job Description
The Justice and Safety Institute at Penn State University Park is seeking qualified law enforcement instructors for the Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff's Basic Training Academy. The position requires face-to-face, hands-on instruction and no remote work is possible.
Requirements
- Produce certification certificates for specialized subjects such as Firearms, Defensive Tactics, and Crisis Intervention
- Be certified through PCCD (Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency) and the Sheriff & Deputy Sheriff Training and Education Board
- Have a valid US driver's license and pass a motor vehicle records check
