Job Description
Postdoctoral Researcher – Protoplanetary Disks and Planet Formation position at Penn State University Park. Study planet formation during the protoplanetary disk phase using hydrodynamic simulations and first-principles calculations. Collaborate with Professor J. J. Zanazzi and other researchers in the field of exoplanetary astrophysics.
Requirements
- PhD in Physics, Astronomy, or a closely related field
- Experience with hydrodynamical simulations of protoplanetary disks and/or post-processing to generate mock observations
- Strong research interests in planet formation and exoplanetary astrophysics
