Job Description
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Penn State University Park invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar position under the supervision of Professor Debarati Das. The successful candidate will contribute to research on the design and analysis of efficient approximation algorithms for computationally hard clustering problems, including algorithmic fairness in clustering.
Requirements
- Completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field by the start date
- Strong background in theoretical computer science, algorithms, approximation algorithms, or related areas of discrete mathematics
