Postdoctoral Scholar

The Acevedo and Hermann labs are looking for a Postdoctoral Scholar to support research on Spotted Lanternfly in grape at Penn State University. The successful candidate will provide support to research in field, greenhouse, and laboratory conditions, with a focus on plant and insect sampling, data collection, and laboratory analyses.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in Entomology or a closely related field
• Peer-reviewed publications
• Experience conducting field research, insect rearing, and plant cultivation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work collaboratively within a research team
