Postdoctoral Scholar - Biomedical Engineering

The Biomolecular and Biomimetic Materials Laboratory in the Biomedical Engineering Department is seeking to hire two Postdoctoral Scholars to conduct independent research under the direction of Dr. Yong Wang. The lab recently achieved a breakthrough in hydrogel coating technology and is enthusiastic about applying this platform across a broad range of biomedical areas including diabetes treatment, cancer immunotherapy, single-cell analysis, and regenerative medicine.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline by the time of appointment
• Expertise in cell biology, diabetes, immunology, and/or animal surgery
• Strong ability to conduct independent research
• An outstanding academic record, demonstrated by at least two first-author publications in high-quality peer-reviewed journals over the past three years
