Job Description
The Department of Electrical Engineering is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to join Dr. Yan Li's research group at Penn State University. The candidate should have a background in power systems, machine learning, cybersecurity, renewable energy, or microgrids, with hands-on experience on hardware-in-the-loop projects. A Ph.D. in power systems or a related field is required.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in power systems or a closely related field
- Background in dynamics analysis of power systems, machine learning, cybersecurity, renewable energy, or microgrids
- Hands-on experience on hardware-in-the-loop projects
- Ability to work independently and participate in teamwork
- Document research results in refereed journal publications
- Present research at seminars and conferences
- Assist with grant applications
- Supervise research of graduate students
