A full-time Research Technologist position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Anirban Paul in the Neural and Behavioral Sciences Department at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. The position involves daily maintaining mice colonies, genotyping, and mice brain processing, immunostaining, and imaging after proper training.

Requirements

• Maintaining mice colonies, genotyping, and mice brain processing, immunostaining, and imaging after proper training
• Taking responsibility in timely handling animal health-related issues
• Maintaining lab equipment, ensuring laboratory safety and biosafety standards are maintained, ordering laboratory supplies, and updating lab inventories
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel)
