Seeking a Technical Sales Representative to close and grow equipment sales through professional communication with existing and prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in sales, preferably in heavy construction, industrial equipment, or related industries, and a strong ability to manage customer relationships, interpret project requirements, and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent, required. Additional education in related field, preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in heavy construction, industrial equipment, or related industries.
- Familiarity with construction equipment, machinery, or tools; technical aptitude to understand product capabilities and applications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships, interpret project requirements, and provide technical guidance.
- Experience preparing quotes, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and presenting solutions to clients.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, service) to meet customer needs.
- Experience attending trade shows, conferences, or other marketing/sales events is a plus.
- Knowledge of inventory management or order tracking systems, preferred.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and project locations as needed, required.
