Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, operating, and scaling cloud services in production environments. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of Linux, network technologies, distributed systems, and modern microservice and cloud architectures.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in designing, operating, and scaling cloud services in production environments
- Thorough understanding of Linux, network technologies, distributed systems, and modern microservice and cloud architectures
- Excellent knowledge of CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
- Sovereign handling of at least one large cloud platform (MS Azure preferred, or AWS or GCP as alternative)
- Experience with monitoring/observability stacks and the requirements for highly available systems
- Ability to quickly adapt to complex IT landscapes and customer environments - both in cloud environments and on-premise infrastructures
- Structured, process-oriented way of working and a well-developed quality awareness
- Ability to communicate convincingly in English and German
