Job Description
As a Centre Supervisor in our Active Ageing Centre, you will be responsible for leading administration and operations, organizing outreach events and programs to improve health outcomes, and managing befriending and buddying programs for isolated seniors. You will also be responsible for managing volunteers, donations, and community partners, as well as providing referrals to seniors in need of services.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Nursing or Healthcare related
- At least 3 years of experience in senior, social or health care setting
- Good interpersonal communication, facilitation and relationship building skills
- Patient, approachable and enjoy working with seniors, family members and peers of different age groups
- Strong work ethic, reliable, able to handle stress with a pleasant disposition and positive attitude
