Job Description
We are hiring a Localisation Associate to manage the end-to-end translation of Business and IT products from English into German. The role involves overseeing translation projects, coordinating with freelancers, Language Service Providers, and Subject Matter Experts, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Native or equivalent fluency in German and English
- Experience working in a Language Service Provider (LSP) environment or a translation function
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting time and budget requirements
- Use CAT tools, Machine Translation (MT), and TMS
- Experience in handling various file formats with a solid understanding of file engineering within the context of localization
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
