The Clinical Applications Specialist II serves as a subject matter expert for clinical applications and EHR systems, providing advanced support and leading system optimization efforts across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, quality measures, and clinical documentation standards.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for EHR workflows, data integrations, and configuration-based issues.
- Ability to interpret and modify system configuration tables, templates, and rule-based logic.
- Experience with SQL, analytics platforms, or reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, APIs).
- Ability to independently manage projects, timelines, and cross-functional communication.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with clinicians, leadership, and technical teams.
- Ability to coach or mentor Tier I colleagues and improve team efficiency.
