Requirements
- 7–10 years' experience in senior engineering leadership roles
- Deep expertise in modern engineering organisational design, contemporary software development methodologies, and Agile delivery practices
- Proven experience leading leaders and managing large, globally distributed engineering teams across multiple time zones and cultures
- Experience with modern technology stacks including React, NextJS, Kafka, Postgres (RDBMS), and architectural patterns such as microservices and containerisation
- Strong knowledge of adjacent technology domains, including AWS cloud computing, container orchestration platforms, and cybersecurity principles
- A track record of driving innovation and leading significant technical change across an organisation
- Solid understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks (experience in regulated environments highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organisational levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
