Job description
Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer to perform as a consultant for leading edge information technologies and methodologies. The team provides full spectrum network connectivity services to the global enterprise, including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management, and network security services.
Design and plan network communications systems, conduct cost/benefit analysis, and provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Conduct testing of network design, monitor network hardware operations, and plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network.
Must have experience architecting solutions for needs throughout the IC, including IP routing, addressing, IP Multicast, IP QOS, and IP encryptors. Ability to develop newtork architectures and work with customers to develop test plans and conduct testing of architecture as required.
