The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, ensuring cleanliness and productivity standards are met, and providing exceptional guest service.
Requirements
- Comply with Brand standards and OSHA regulations
- Manage daily operations of Housekeeping and Laundry departments
- Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms
- Prepare and monitor VIP rooms and special guests
- Coordinate department activities with other departments
- Maintain logs and room status
- Assign or reassign room lists to room attendants
- Support and supervise houseperson and laundry attendants
- Issue keys to authorized personnel
- Train on cleanliness standards
- Lead daily stand up and pre-shift meetings
- Promote hotel rules and regulations
- Monitor quality and cleanliness standards
- Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues
- Manage lobby areas
- Provide services above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention
- Ensure associates have necessary supplies and equipment
- Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
- Carry out supervisor responsibilities
- Train and develop associates on 4 Keys service standards
- Ensure all associates are safety conscious and trained in safe work practices
- Foster open channels of communication
- Follow all additional duties as assigned by management
